Someone shot a hole in the old pickup truck's backglass. Kelley (Texas) :)

Dang, that is a shame. The glass on that old pickup truck is probably worth a pretty penny if it isn't cracked. Heck, surprised someone hasn't parted it out or restored it yet.

gave up and just started driving it. Old pickup trucks are popular down here in South Texas. Kelley (Texas) :)

over here they shoot stop signs, yield signs etc.

When I saw your topic, Kelley, I thought that someone had taken a picture of your pickup, as in photo shoot.

I was going to be clever and jump on here and say something about Texans will shoot anything that moves, etc. LOL taking a play on the word shoot.

But, dang, you really did mean shot your pickup. That size hole, what caliber do you think that it was? Could it have been an accident, like someone missed poaching a deer from the farm over and got your truck instead?

If deliberate, it really peeves me greatly. NICE old truck, and like said above, the glass looked nice, too. Dad had a 1952 Chevy pickup with the tire on the side similar to yours. It had our family name ________ & Son, then, like the pounds or something, or, a number, something underneath that. I forgot what that was all about. Would have been 50'-60's Missouri.

That's how we could put more people back to work in America. Sign painters. just reinstate that law that made all that garbage painted on your truck door and viola, an instant Jobs Program. :wiggle:

Sad. This is how people treat other people and their property today.

I spotted it parked near some buildings, and after seeing that it had been shot, decided to take a picture of it. Who ever shot it used a large caliber rifle or pistol. I looks to me like someone had started restoring the old truck, then gave up for some reason, probably found out how expensive it was.

When I was in the Marines, a fellow Marine had an old truck like this. It was painted green with black colored fenders. One night he got drunk, wrecked the truck, and was seriously injured to the degree that they gave him a medical discharge. Kelley (Texas) :)
