Someone i talked to at my club mentioned it was unlawful to hunt Mass. beaches now. Whats up with this????

:rofl:Who ever said that must have tried to hunt a National seashore area or fed reserve area and got booted out or was in a state beach and was messing around in dunes!!! Or the person is trying to get rid of other hunters.Beach hunting is still allowed if you follow rules...clean up your trash..stay out of dunes!!! stay out of restricted areas. On the north shore of Mass.in the Salisbury state park/beach...the rangers have at times required their permission to hunt.they have also thrown hunters out when some jerk dug holes all over the dunes! I know its open to hunters now.Just south of there on Plum Island there's the Fed. reservation OFF LIMITS!! They will take your detector inpound your car fine you and arrest you!! They don't mess around there!!!The State park there is also closed to hunting..loss of detector fines!!So that make's 99.999% of Plum off LIMITS..unless you own private property there. l LOVE these crazy rumors people start!!
