Some Tips for finding a Ring

Im talking Gold Ring, lol, but a silver ones are ok too. Here my outlook on dirt fishing. Im looking 4 rings or older coins(items). Im not really interested in the newer coins ,although its ok to add them to the pouch.
So where do you go if looking for rings?? I would like to see some of your responses to that question.

Here's my thoughts on that.
I have found that the best place is a elementary school. It seems unusuall maybe, but im telling you___YES___ Try it. Not sure if the kids are taking moms rings to school and losing them or if mom is escorting the kids around and losing them ,but they are there. Got to dig everything ,but the solid nickle tones are the ones you are looking for. At the least you will have a pouch full of coins( the kids lose allot) at the end of the day .I have found more rings this way than anywhere else.
Second best place would be a ball diamond, either at any school or one open to the public. One at a school that is also open to the public is the best.Out in the outfield is where I like to look but guess it dont matter. Usually but not always they are fairly clean of the usual junk. mostly coins, then maybe some pop tabs and the rest are rings.lol If a ball field is completely full of junk I wont stay long. Once again must dig everything and looking 4 the solid nickle signal(at least on the 2200) .

If Im not somewhere looking for older coins Im at one of these 2 places,it gives a break from one type of fishing 2 another type

Good luck ,,n try if you havent already

Go to the beach. Some of the Florida guys talk about finding 4 or 5 gold rings a week!.

I think my best YEAR was 6 SILVER rings. And I'll bet none of them cost more the 12.95 new.

Good luck on your Quest. Dave
