You do not need an expensive camera to start, a simple point and shoot camera will produce some good pictures if used properly. Never lose sight of the fact that it is all about having fun! Kelley (Texas) :)

Very good info with a lot of common sense . I use to pack my camera with me everywhere I went and have slipped lately and several times I wished I had it with me and didn't .

Thanks kelly

Thanks very much for the link, that does provide some great information, have decided too send my Fuji camera in for a thorough check over and anything that need doing will be sorted our, also get a 1 year warrenty with it that covers every thing.

Really looking forward to getting it back, then i can get out and about and take some pictures and upload a few onto the forum.

Photography lives, but maybe cameras are "over".

Google "Goodbye Cameras" by Craig Mod.

Not sure I agree with the article, but I do use my iPhone camera about 10X as much as my "real" cameras.

getting a 1 year warranty is great. Looking forward to seeing your pictures. Kelley (Texas) :)
