I have an pull tab beaver tail buried at 8 inches and it Ids at 17-18 and may jump to 21 but i found i have the best depthusing swing speed of 2 Iron bias of 2 and multi tone , multi frequincy as Jimmy has said i can get it good at 4" off the ground . I found the slowest swing speed gets tricky. anyone else find the same results

I never use the slowest recovery speed. Lowest I go is 3 on the Equinox 800. Anything slower it seems like too much of a delay ( audio wise) compared to where the target is located.

JimI know exacly what you are saying on the slow sweep it seems to go way off to the side .
