When to the field today and find a few things.A dead IH,1826 large cent w/E.graylord struck on it.Got my third bell from this field, and sum buttons.Anyone know what the lead thing in the next to the last photo is?Enjoy

I looked up Saylor, Graylord, Gaylord, Caylord nothing matches in the 1700-1900 U.S. Token book. What else is stamped on it?

n/t

<center> for many reasons
1 being the copper shortage in the era
another was it was cheaper to take a worn lg cent and counter stamp your store neme into it then make store cards as new :)
Some were just used for other reasons also because they felt like it :D
Cool find tho and one that I have not found ;)
