some stuff from recent hunts

Haven't been out much because of heat. these are from several short hunts including today (2 hrs) where I got 2 wheats and the merc. All the stuff came from the public ground......

Thanks guys.... Yeah, ring is .925 and I think the other one is gold but I didn't count it cause I'm not sure (?) and could care less, it's been tossed in the treasure chest with the other oddball crap..... Been terrible hot here lately but it cooled down some last few days. Ground hard as a rock except for the public grass.... May go up the river today to some old cabins and older Forest Service sites and do some investigative dirt sniffing.....????

We've had one torrential rainfall after another for about a good month now. Ground is so saturated, most of the cornfields here are now multi acre lakes.

First time ever i had severe seepage in my basement right out of the unused sump well, had to quickly install a sump system. Glad i bought that small xfer pump years ago, until i got the new sump system installed that small xfer pump kept my basement from totally flooding. Had to baby sit that no-auto-shut-off small pump for a couple days til the water level went down enough to go out and buy the new sump pump stuff. We just had another storm a few hrs. ago and the sump is running just about non-stop again.
I don't ever want to hear the word PVC pipe again!

Between that and other crapola going on, can't even remember the last time i went detecting!

I always like finding those old cap gun that have not been chopped up by the mower.

boy did it get hot here today, 94 and heat index over a 100 but I don't care how hot it is. I got a sidewalk tear out to check on this evening

We actually did get a "little" rain but basically it's been drier than a popcorn fart and 95-100+ until just 2 days ago.....
