Appears that this areas a winter wasteland in the winter, and a desert in the summer. (Notice the plant life)

Funny how the people who own the land along the highway have all those fences up, but yet theres nothing enclosed in them. Maybe that changes in the summer???:shrug:
 
Beautiful country. Maybe the fences hold the mountains back :) at any rate nice pictures.. Thanks for sharing.
