Found these relics this weekend while hunting with my brother. Has anyone dug one of the brass bathtub stopper looking things before and what is it? All of these items where found in a Union campsite. Also, check the minelab forum to see the bust dime I found.....Aaron
 
You were around an old house site; shingle nails. Could be a bath tub stopper. Would have been a rubber gasket around the bottom, if post CW; if that's what it is. Type III Williams "Cleaner bullets" will date the US Army occupation to June/July 1863 or later. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
