Some Relics and Silver

Not sure what the relics are :) one is marked 1853 with some Initials .I. N.K. the other ones have no date just a good patina.

and a bonus silver ring:biggrin: (these finds are over the last couple of weeks between the bad weather.

If any one has any ideas as to what the Horse or the 1853 items could be let me know......Found in Germany in a little town near Heidelberg and i am guessing they are some kind of horse tack, possibly a buckle ????

Good luck to all and Happy Hunting:detecting:

Parts to a saddle. The round piece with the two horizontal slits
looks like a concho. The horse piece had a piece of leather strap
through it, and the decorative piece looks like a strap end. Of course that is merely speculation. Regardless, nice finds. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage (EX-II) :minelab:

I don't know what the Horse Type Item is but it is OLD and it is a very nice looking piece! I also like the Silver Ring you found. And the thing that looks somewhat like a Clam Shell and is hollow, that is another interesting piece. Hope someone here knows what they are and if not, try the Whatzit Forum. Good Luck and HH.

The horse thing might be a horse rosette. They were worn on a leathe r strap on the horse's chest for show. I found one with a wheat stalk stamped England on the back and showed it to the owner. Turns out, she lost it while moving, so I gave it back to her. I thought it was in the ground for a hundred years. Ron
