Some recent T-2 finds,

Old California

New member
Hello T-2 Comrades,

Haven't posted here in a long time, Still using my T-2 and will be heading across the pond next year in April, In which I will be taking my T-2 and another detector.

Below, Are recent T-2 finds made the past week. With the exception of one gilt button which was made from an earlier T-2 hunt and my Treasure Baron scoring three of the six silver coins last week but everything else was recovered with the T-2.

The older finds (mostly buttons) are from an 1820-30 adobe site, The silver coins and wheat back pennies are local park finds.

The oldest silver coin is a 1900 barber dime, The other finds are from an adobe site which gave up 12 pre-1830 buttons two of them Phoenix buttons (No. 29 & No. 6) and one small (1830-40's) Mexican Military silver button. I didn't realize I had a second Phoenix button until later after cleaning the remainder of the finds and boy was that second Phoenix a surprise, These are usually found at much older sites of mission era.

Thanks for taking the time to view the post, And still loving the T-2 :)

Thanks Thompy,

Just found out the silver button was a small reale made into a button, And has a date (18??.)

Thanks again,
Paul

Thanks amigos,

Here's an update of the reale button, Found out the silver button is actually an 1843 1/4 reale made into a button. Finally found the coin from an older book at our local book store.

We're having great success here in California with our T-2's and F-75 detectors, Many of my friends who relic hunt made the change and quit using the Explorers.

Thanks again and Happy thanks giving :)
