...While up Mackinaw way,we will be going to Mackinaw Island,and visiting the Grand Hotel.While there,we are going to partake of their world-class lunch buffet,neither of us ever having the privilege of sampling it...We figure we will only get married once,so we might as well enjoy our honeymoon.....Their buffets are world-renowned,and both of us have always wanted to try it.What we ARE going to pass on,is STAYING at the Grand Hotel:Before I made reservations elsewhere,I checked into prices at the time we will be there:For 5 nights,north of $3,000.00!!!.........5 nights in Mackinaw,THEN:8 nights in my favorite place in the world:COPPER HARBOR,WAY UP IN THE U.P.!!!!I told Marcia maybe we can walk through Copper Harbor at night:Might see some bears!!!.....For some reason,she said "NO!!!!".....................
