Some pennies, silver and an old lock

Went out for an early swing this morning to a park that has been producing a few old coins.

Most of the coins were pretty deep, 8-9 inches (sandy soil). I thought I had another penny when the lock surfaced from about 6 inches. It has the markings "BBB" on both sides. I looked on the net and found some older locks made by Binghams Best Brand Cleveland.
Seeing as it looks like it in a U.S. brand has anyone seen one like it? It looks old and I would be interested in finding out when they were made.

Thanks and HH
