Some old, foreign paper money found in my wife's mothers house... Anyone know what it is?

Thanks...

This is an easy internet search. German, 100 Sundert Mark circa 1906/7 in that condition not worth much to mention. Take a look on ebay to see what they are going for, may be 3 or 4 bucks. Good Luck.

Good thing, in that condition, a buck or two tops. Make some kid happy with them

Any chance her grand parents where German? Might be a keepsake of theirs, maybe dates from the year they left.

I found an old bowl at a garage sale once. It turned out to be 400 years old. I suspect it was an ancestor piece whose story was lost and they sold it to me for 5 cents. Certain middle eastern cultures value ancestor objects but in the course of time some grandfather forgot to relay to the descendant what the bowl was. Ming Chinese! With a personal mark added to the bottom of the inside.

So you never know what gets put in the back of a drawer by an ancestor. Not yours in this case but your children's.
