Some Old Coins From My Last Couple Of Hunts

Sooper Dave

Well-known member
I got in a couple of hunts over the last week and made a few old finds. I'm trying to get on much older sites this year, but I am still coming up with "newer" coins. A lot of fun to dig no matter what. I hit a really old school's ball field but it was tough. Not very many signals and fresh plugs dug everywhere. A big old school in the middle of an old town is an easy target but thought I would give it a shot. I did manage to pull three of the Mercs from there. The Barber I dug at my parent's house that I have hunted at a lot over the years with three different machines. I was going super slow in the trash with the 13" Ultimate coil and had dug 2 deep Memorials, I was expecting the same from the 12-43 I got on the Etrac, but was happy to see that thin little dime in the hole. The Etrac still impresses me after over three years of steady use and I really like using the Ultimate coil on there as it stays on 95% of the time. The weather has changed for the worse down here and we are starting to get snow and ice. Spring can't get here soon enough! HH David
