no higher profits occurring...so no raises! Profits help companies expand for hiring more workers to produce more goods.....the more goods the less we have to spend on food, clothing and etc. How did we get so many idiots in the gov't and people dumbed down to where they cannot think clearly or have the intelligence to do so! The gov't leaders, themselves, have caused many companies to go overseas because of all the regulations and taxes put on them, so they become corporations to survive and corporations have more loop holes to keep from having to pay higher taxes! The more people help produce the cheaper the goods will be and more money they will get by getting raises! No profits...no raises and no new workers! It is sad but this is what the Liberal party has become and many in the Republican Party, too! Greed and selfishness on both sides of the Corps, Unions and the people! Unions are filled with fatcalves and were once needed but no more as the Mafia and lobbiests have taken over! Keep this up and the USA and its good citizens are doomed for sure! Sorry, long post, but this touched a painful cord with me! Let us pray that BO and his cronies are voted out by those who do have some Common Sense left in their brains! Amen! :rage: :angel: Ma

Idiots. Profits are the reward for working hard and taking the risk. If you can't make a profit you may as well go work for someone as an employee, but wait, how can you be an employee if there are no employers.
If there are no employers and no employees there are no taxes to the government from wages, no taxes from anything because nobody can pay, they have no money, if no one has money, then we have a giant tent city full of crime, poverty and sickness. Am I missing something or does that about sum it up?
 
Also want to add, I am a business owner. These people have no clue what it takes to run a business in this country, even a micro company. The rules and regs, the paperwork, the forms to be filled out, all the accounting to pay the taxes for the company and the employees, constantly, and the list goes on and on. I had employees a couple years ago, had to lay them off. They collected unemployment to the point where my unemployment reserve moved into the red, now I have to pay over 10% of my wages to the state from my paycheck to get it back into the black. I can't even collect unemployment because I am the business owner...still have to pay into it though. Very un-motivating now, just think what it would be like with no profits.
