Some of Today's Finds with the Etrac

OK .. I am starting to get the hang of the machine. I found 5 Indians and about 8 buttons. I was after the buttons and not the Indians, The Indian came from a field but the buttons and musket balls come from an old town that was started in 1792 and is no more. This was the reason I want the Etrac was for detecting this old town because the coins and buttons are so very deep . I did not find any coins but I found the buttons and musket balls. I am always reaching for the signals because finding coins at this site is difficult. With the iron and large size foundation rocks mixed in between the coins and the depth of these coins and buttons are 8 inches +++++++. I have not found a large cent or bust US silver as of yet but I am hoping this will happen soon. I bought this machine for this site but as for now it looks like the explorers may have gotten the coins. I know there are a few more flowing hair half dime and dime still to be found in the trashy areas. I am sure I will find one soon. The machine runs very smooth and am pleased thus far ... I will keep you guy posted on my finds I am going out in the morning .. Jim
