Some of my Golden mask 3 finds

Hello there folks. I purchased a Bulgarian made Golden mask 3 detector in the spring 2010 for the purpose of searching old fields and places and here is some of my latest finds with the detector:

There finds are from a beach: very small gold earring, silver ring and Finnish 10 penni

Some really nice coins and finds there.

There's been a price drop since the introduction of the 3+ with its potential of 30% extra power so they are even better value.

Question is, which do you prefer, the Minelab or the much cheaper G.M. ?

Thanks pal. In old places i prefer the Gm3 hands down, because it seems to handle the iron heavy places significally better than my X-terra 70 ever did and i have founds loads of stuff in places i have before Searched with the x-terra 70.

In my opinion The GM machines are just as good as any 1000 dollar machine in relic hunting, only they lack the more or less unneeded bells/whistles and the high price tag.

My cousin is using a Minelab E-trac and even he says that the Golden mask 3 is way too good for the money it costs, so that is telling something right...

Searching beach and park etc., i mostly prefer the x-terra 70, because of the easier trash discrimination, so both machines are good in different places.:detecting:

I tried the latest (Mk 2) Blisstool the other week. Its being pushed as the G.M. beater but its not there yet and the supposed improved build quality is still not there whilst Golden Mask seems to be going from strength to strength.

On top of that the detector looks quite ugly, but on the other hand the Golden mask is quite nice looking detector and the build quality is very good. Golden mask detectors have proven themselves many times over, excellent detector for the money.:detecting:
