Some of my finds displayed for posterity

I picked up a large picture frame at a garage sale to display some of my finds. Only flat items fit behind the glass. The frame fits between the door frame and my wifes showcase for her Elvis stuff on the right. An assortment of old coins and small relics filled the frame. Any of the two coins touching each other are the same type, one shows the obverse, the other the reverse. At the bottom is a history of my hobby, when I started, what I search for, type of places I search, etc. Pieces are stuck to the white cardboard with double stick tape. I hope this display guarantees it will stay in the family after I'm long gone. The other relics and old coins that are still in boxes have a questionable future if I don't frame them. If I don't do it no body else will and who knows where all those finds still in boxes will end up.

Great job Dave, that really looks nice........:clapping:

Thanks Larry. Hope to do another one.

Awesome finds and great looking display piece!

I like that display! I had to search your old posts to find how you did it since I just saw your newer post about the skeleton keys. I usually use shadow boxes I purchase from Hobby Lobby but hate that they can't be transported without everything sliding everywhere...
