My favorite coin find:

I have lots of favorite finds, 11.5 mm natural pearl ring, platinum mens band, hundreds of gold rings. Most of these are out of the lakes in Michigan. The $10 gold piece was out of a park in Utah. The half karat diamond ring was my most rewarding find. I am trying to find something a bit larger!!

VERY NICE...... One more reason I want to get another detector - for the water. Think the wife is on board...You guys (from the south, means men and women) keep showing the rings and coins you find detecting in the water, it helps sells the cause.

WOW!:surprised: Just look at that coin, you must have been thrilled to see that pop out of the ground. some nice rings too.:clapping:

You guys (from the south, means men and women)

I didn't know Michigan was in the south!!!!

That coin popped out of the ground at 1:30 AM!! It was pitch black. I felt the weight and saw the eagle in the moonlight. I went straight home and didn't let go of the coin at all. It was a thrill to say the least. And to find tghat they only minted 14,000 and so it is a key date was great also!!

Oh, my Lord!!

Those are gorgeous rings!! and that gold coin!!! WOW!! Good thing I have my sunglasses on! :)

I can only dream of finding a coin like that.

That is supurb detecting !! Congratulations !! :super::jump:

Water hunting is the best. In the last 6 years I have been cleaning up some lakes in Michigan.

Last years gold:

Gold before that: excluding diamonds and rings I returned:

And my only platinum band that I could keep. I found one that I returned.

Heaviest 14K white gold ring I ever found:

Most silver coins I found in one dive. Cass lake in Pontiac Mi. Out past the swim area on the drop-off are 55 gal drums filled with cement. Their used to be swim platforms attached to them in the 30's and 40's. 17 silver coins 7 buffalo nickels and 17 wheat cents. Water is between 10 - 15 foot deep. Great place to play with a good detector.

Thanks all. I love to dive and play with my toys. Beats fixing computers all day!

My favorite ring find. Still searching for the owner. I have requested but haven't recieved a reply for his service records. He was a pilot on B-25 Bombers right at the end of WW2.
