I'm having a pretty good start to the new detecting season here in the North East. Today I found an 1850 Half Dime, as well as an old cork top bottle which base was barely sticking out of the ground where I saw it. Two weeks ago was my first coin find of the year and was the 1786 Vermontensium seen on the right. At this same cellar I found 7 very small flat , shanked buttons all grouped in one area. This is a very good start for me so early in the year.
