Some nice folks offered to give me a large mounted Elk head with horns today.............

They have it in their gargage. It was beautiful, but large. Debbie said "No!" before I could even answer the folks. All evening I have thought about that mounted Elk head...wonder if it would be a good Christmas gift to give one of my friends? I could drop it off on their front porch late Christmas eve after they went to bed...just put a note "from Santa" on it. Kelley (Texas) :)

That reminds me, a few years ago was doing a service call and came home with a mounted deer's head, it's been on the wall of the garage, though it is showing wear and the nose is dry and cracked, see you. Here are a couple of National Geo pictures you may enjoy. oj

hope to catch a few pan fryers this summer...I usually have to drive a few hours, though there are closer spots also...

We have bass, brem, crappie, catfish as the major ones to catch and eat. I like to fish for catfish...good eating. Kelley (Texas) :)

of course I am on my third wife

many years ago when I bought a totem pole for the back yard...it quickly ended up at the YMCA camp grounds, not the back yard as envisioned. Facing the fury of a pizzed off wife is never enjoyable! Kelley (Texas)
