Have had my E-Trac for two months now and am really starting to get the hang of the machine now. Got out twice to my local city park and the E-Trac really did well pulling the silver. Each hunt was for 1 1/2 hours in the evening. The first signal of the evening was a semi-key date 1917-D Buffalo nickel in very nice condition. I then got the 1907 Barber dime at 5 inches and a 1944 Mercury that was a solid 9 inches deep. Been a while since I've dug a Barber so I was pretty stoked to see that in the hole. The Merc was deep but hit very solid and was a textbook deep 12-44 silver dime signal. Also got four early wheats and the vintage pin that day as well.
Sunday, I found the 58 caliber Confederate three groove bullet in the vicinity of General Longstreet's Confederate winter camp. Amazingly, it was only 1-2 inches deep and rang up 12-34.
This evening I got out for 1 1/2 hours at the park and pulled a 1923 Merc and 1940-D Merc both at 4-5 inches deep. Also got a 1914 Wheatie at 5-6 inches.
Really amazes me how much I have found in this well hunted park with the E-Trac. Have been using Sabisch's coin program and pretty much digging everything Nickel and above.
