A mint issue of True Treasure 1967, the precursor to Lost Treasure. Some of these copies are worth a bunch.

Thats one of the mags we got free back when I was a kid.
I probably read that issue when it came out. :/ If you look at
the "C" up in the right hand corner, with the two C's inside it..
That stands for Curtis Circulation Company, which was the company
my dad worked for at that time. The way I got them free was when
they had returns that didn't sell..We could keep them as long as we
tore the covers off for return credit. I also got a lot of other
mags, comics, etc the same way.

From the Fall of 1966. He later bought out Bill Mahan's Treasure World, and published it every other month in-between the True Treasure months until they were finally combined into one monthly publication of Lost Treasure.

Thanks for posting. I've got that issue somewhere along with many issues of TT of that time plus many issues of Treasure World. They don't print them like they used to and there used to be a lot more magazines available back then Now they are just a catalog of advertisers with an outrageous price. I think Lost Treasure is on the way out. They can't keep editors.
