I think this first one is a Japinese Beetle

This is some sort of fly. I am just trying to get the darned things in focus. It is hard hand holding the camera

This is some sort of jumping spider. He seemed as interested in me as I was in him and I was afraid he would jump on me. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> That is why he is not all that clear. I could not get a good shot of the sucker

It fascinates me how you get so much color in the pictures... This should light a fire under me to learn how to take pictures like this. I am just trying to learn how to use the derned thing. The fly is a bit washed out because I didn't get the flash on it worth a darned and had to lighten it up with PhotoShop. It washes the whole thing out.
I use the Sony CD500 it is a five meg camera. I also use a macro lens. I shot it in shutter priority. Shutter speed at 350 to offset any movement. Problem is it was in the woods and I needed to have more flash on the darned things. They looked good on the camera but dark on the puter.
I gotta figure it out
