Some more finds

Hey everyone, here are some more finds of the more recent searches..

That cannon ball fragment near the coke can has its own box now hehe.. that thing adds some serious weight to my relic box and can barely fit in it. Its one of the biggest fragments I have ever found. I believe the 2 round looking pieces are read shells, I found an entire read shell but like a fool sold it, I was young and had no brains lol.

Feel free to share any info you have on the rest =)

The cola can is just for size reference, the book, incase your wondering why its so big lol... is the Davis - Kirkley - Perry The Official Atlas of the Civil War.. Awesome book for research on hot area's

Thanks!

Good for you Armydude 757, interesting relics you have recovered!

Here in Australia we never had a major civil war as you did, so relics are not really sought after.
Even the lead muzzle loader balls you guys treasure are not keepers down here.

What kind of things are abundent or sought after there? I figure coins and such maybe?

Thanks!

Armydude I personally like to go to parks, schools, reserves etc. plus especially the beach.
Mostly I hope for coins and jewellry...

I really like to get the older pre-decimal copper and silver coins,
best of all I'd like to turn up a gold coin! ~ One day eh!

Nice! I bet it would be quite exciting to dig up a gold coin!

Thanks for sharing the info
