We both took Thursday and Friday off and went hunting both days. We did a beach hunt Thursday and yesterday we hit a 1905 house site and and old vacant lot. Got our first Silver!!! A 1936 Mercury dime.

Congrats on the silver ! Are'nt they beautiful?Those Mercs are really pretty. Makes your heart skip a beat when they come rolling out of the ground. What did you make of the pyramid shaped lead weight that you have in the pic. I have one just like it that I found a month or so ago which I figured is a plumb bob. Mine is a litttle more beat up than yours appears to be and has a loop of monofiament fishing line around the loop on top. Looks like you did good
