I guess persistance pays off. I have been hunting some fields in town for 3 years now. They surrounded a cemetary that was once the town common and I found plenty of British coppers, an 1800, 1803 and 1805 LC but I knew there had to be Spanish silver there. Finally tonight I found one but it is not the Reale that we usually find, it says Phillipus, not Georgivus and I can't get a date off it. Anyhow, that field will be hit hard with the 1400 before it gets a chance to grow up. Also found some buttons, one has script that I am trying to clean up. Hope you all had a good weekend. Ron
