Some more 2010 finds.

Wheats. Some went into my book in the wheat section. Maybe 12-15. Total was 176 wheats.

Silver jewelry. 156,200 mg of sterling. Sounds like a lot written like that. I started out gang busters with silver and it really tapered off. In fact, I only found about 3 or 4 items after September. Anyway, 4.65 troy ounces of pure silver.

Junk jewelry and relics still left to look over. I know there are 40 junk rings. Probably 80 or 100 other junk jewelry items. Big can full of relics.

Do you guys keep most finds? I keep some, but made a little girl happy the other day, gave her grandma a gold ring with a white star sapphire to give her. was a small ladies ring, not worth much in gold, stone was little, but you could see the star chase around the stone in the light. kid has had a rough time. I am putting some up for grand-daughter, and had given my own daughters a few. gave a way several silver rings to kids i know. clads buy the batteries, wheat's and silver coins i keep. sold a token and bought a used machine once. wish i had token back for a while, then an estate sale produced a drawer full, and price went kaput! I have a small display of nostalgia, and a junk jar that is just cool to look at. but when you return a 1931 class ring back to a lady that is 86 yrs old like i did in 2000 when i officially got started serious hunting, that makes it all worth while.
