Some maybe thinking Deus 4.1 is only bells and whistles, well is it?

What’s the word on it?

I'm lov'in it so far in tot lots.

I will be putting it to the test tomorrow when it finally get warm enough to hit some good coin sites.

As far as tot lots I have never found so many BB's. 80-kHz kills the small stuff. I'm hoping that will get me all those gold earring backs that just have to go along with all those lost earrings.

Actually here is a longer version.

A user using 9" LF coil and uses version 4.0 or older version. If this user has a person come behind them using 9"LF coil and using V4.1 (this persons) can find goodies the V4.0 user missed. Actually find goodies the V4.0 user never heard or heard and thought it was iron or nail.

Can't say for sure how much soil mineralization plays into this, it does play if soil is not mild I know this. But it also plays when ferrous is part of detecting scenario too.

Interesting observations, thanks for sharing

You are welcome.

Today I found 6 nonferrous targets in the wild.
Challenged either by minerals. and or orientation, or ferrous masking.
5 of the 6 nonferrous targets when comparing V4.0 to 4.1,, the 5 targets all yielded better signals using 4.1 with ground sensitvty set to levels 5-7.
1 of the nonferrous targets signal wise undetectable when swept while pivoting 360 degrees using V4.0,, switching to 4.1 and selecting ground sensitivity 6, I could hear the target easily.
Still a tiny bit compromised by could hear easily..

I had lost some faith in LF coils with the advent of HF coils. After today, my feelings toward the LF coils has changed .
Kudos to XP.
