Some manufacturer could step up & make a dang good one

A B & D that has at least 2 tones. Example like the Garrett pulse inductions. L/ high. Hi / lo
Ground balancing, sensitivity, discrimination knobs
Ability to change coils, that are at least waterproof.
Great not just good target separation. What ever needs to be done for at least impressive depth.
I really believe all these companies try to carry a machine for every little nich. Not necessary. So instead just carry one to 3 Good units. You want a warranty? Purchase one like you do for anything else. Less units, less parts you have to inventory.
The above technology I've mentioned isn't rocket science. These companies already have all this technology spread out over a few dozen units or more.
Oh, also relatively light. Don't worry about entry level machines, there's plenty out there.
Now , you guys can come up with better ideas. But the technology is already out there. Just give us something with Quality over quantity.
Is this far fetched?

It would be cool if DeepTech could step up with something like that!! They put out a great beep and dig machine already. Adding a few features for the American market would be something to buy. I think it would do well.

Everybody that wants one should go on the Deeptech forum and let em know, strength in numbers.

Might get DT off the couch and do something.........................

I'd buy a DeepTech engineered for trashy parks and schoolyards. In a heartbeat. I just don't gel with metered detectors. I try, but I always end up back with a Tesoro. I'll be putting my MX Sport up for sale soon, because it gathers dust while I have fun with my Vaquero.

Man the Deep Tech air tests can almost seal the deal. The coin between two nails. The Mojave can to that. (But nowhere near that depth of course) Are there videos of a coin between two pull tabs. I'm not afraid to dig some. I hunt a Infinium Pi , and I can eliminate a lot of trash because of the way the tones are.
Some of you guys know what I mean. Back to the videos.

If Tesoro is not going to be producing any more B&D units that leaves a pretty big market open to Deeptech if they are on the ball.
Just sayin....

I though a beep and dig machine beeped and then you dig........one type of beep and then you dig the target lol.......you are talking tone id machines.
A detector like this already exists....its called the goldmax power, superfast seperation, great depth, iron volume and tones. Its also lightweight with a great range of coils. In heavy iron theres nothing out there that can better it as far as beep and dig type detectors are concerned.

Out of curiosity I went and looked for an XP Goldmax to see what it looked like. It looks a bit like a Minelab Sovereign. The Sovereign has a good reputation.
Wonder why I've never seen much mention of the XP Goldmax on this side of the atlantic?

Its a totally different machine than a minelab......if you are looking for small valuable items in amongst iron its one of the best machines available, dont know why they are not more popular over in the States, maybe it is because they haven't got vdi?

The Goldmax Power was extremely high rated by Keith Southern with thorough testing, posted on Tom D's forum. The DeepTech Vista Gold came along and it was a close match.........https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUKE-CYO_3G59P3_mCqT4OKQ

Some may not like the configuration but, the control box can be rear mounted.

Is it possible to get the GMP over here Sven? Always wanted to try one.
I tried to buy one out of Europe years ago after watching Norfolk Wolf's video but was told they are not certified for sale to North America due to the wireless headphone configuration. FCC and such nonsense.

I have connections, anything is possible. Would have to call in on a favor to get one shipped to Canada.

Gentlemen, DeepTech makes some very nice macines that are ferrous / non-ferrous machines. Exceptional depth with a fast processor using analog / digital technology. It shouldn't be long before DT comes out with a detector
that has an expanded range of discrimination. Thanks Richard

From what I hear they are working on it. Get yours from Richard. He's been a long time Tesoro user and dealer you guys have known and dealt with for years.

I'll be watching for that.

Me too. Though my Tesoros meet my needs pretty well, a new beep & dig is always tempting.

I hope they keep the discrimination range wide in the lower conductivity range to help with jewelry and relic hunting. If it maxed out just high enough to knock out zinc pennies, I'd be happy.
