got out early this morning after work,1916 buffalo nickel two 1920 wheats one 1920 s the other 1920 ,,smallish gold ring with initials on the front,,,ntb or atb hard to read, also a token of some sort, felt good to get back out...I havent had time with working and all the other responsible stuff so today was a great time...all too short but fun none the less....I will be back pounding this place you can bet....

I remember it wasnt that long when you were just getting clad, now we are seeing some of the better stuff. As you see it just takes a little time and patience, it is going to even get better.

Rick

thanks Rick yes I was only getting clad,it has taken some experience and as you said paitence to understand the elite and acctually decern what your hearing and what it all means....the clad is fine but its nice when you hear the deep ones.....I now fully understand how slow you need to work with the elite..and there is not a doubt in my mind that I had been passing over some deeper targets by sweeping way to fast...I think I was up over 2000 coins before I saw my first silver dime, now they come, but still not as frequently as I would like, the main challenge now is finding time....when I first got the elite all I had was free time, now that I have recovered from the surgeries, I work to much again,,,leaving my detector lonley and sad.....we were happy to get out yesterday, and she treated me good....I remember posting damn near every penny I found in the begining..now its gotta be gold or multiple oldies before I even consider a post and even then its a matter of free time....I without a doubt would still be pretty much in the dark if it werent for all your help ...thanks to you Rick and all the other guys on this fourm that have helped me bust through the learning curve....I really appericeate it and may we all bag some gold or silver next time out.......HH.........................Adam in california

Nice! Haven't seen you posting in a while man. Life getting in the way of metal detecting? Looks like you're doing good with the Sovereign. Been to the beach much with it?
