Some info on this bottle please?

Hello all, found this bottle last year and would like some info on it. going by the lettering on the base, the 'M' normally for having been manufactured in 1900, or thereabouts. But I think the bottle is actually later than that, possibly around 1920's or so. It's amber glass, fairly heavy and dense glass, stands 16.8cm in height. It states on the front: "Ainslie's Whiskey - This bottle is the property of Halloran Mantor Ltd Sydney. Any imput appreciated! thanks.
