Well the Manticore has been great uncovering some nice coins in hunted spots I’ve hit with my 800.
Yesterday was a great afternoon in town along a river bank at low tide I’ve gone over this spot with multiple detectors and I was in beach mode and right along the shore I had a nice high tone which was the 1847 seated half dime!
It was so small I thought maybe a Trime but was glad to see it was a seated I’ve never found one before.
As I headed fine the bank and 90-93 which turned out to be a 1802 large cent which I believe is a 2 over 0 as listed in the red book.
My friend Dan was here detecting but not along the river bank he was in the woods with the 900 I sold him and he Found a 1864 Army token and a 1864 Indian head so that prompted me to go at low tide. The quarter and war nickel were found at a school field along with two Rosie’s .
It’s been a great start with the Manyicore it definitely a step up that’s for sure
Beach and general program
I’ve included his two finds the civil war token and his Indian

Referring to a seated coin or the half-dime that you have never found?

Very nice recoveries Mark! Looks fun. I really like that half dime and large cent. Winter never seems to end here.

Dave
thanks Dave found a few old large cents so far the half dime is one I’ve been wanting to find it was so cool along a river bank it was a great high tone also then as I saw the small clump it was in I thought it’s got to be junk then I saw the writing!
All in nice condition too.
