This key was in three pieces in the hole. I probably broke it while digging.

That stuff looks old. If you could get into the lake you'd probably find a lot of old coins and jewelry.

I want to see pictures of piles of silver coins and antique rings!

I know that you cannot swim or wade in the lake, but you have to wonder how those items got there, if there is no swimming or wading. Maybe you should poach it in the water under cover of darkness! I mean, it's not private property or anything right? Heh-heh, but how long has it taken you to amass this collection of fine loot from an unswimmable/unwadeable lake? Real nice loot dude! IT'S GOTTA BE LOADED!

Ok... The title of the starting message in this post is "Some finds from the park around the lake." None of the items in this post were found on the lake's edge or in the lake. They were found in the park that surrounds the lake. In my previous posts in this forum titled "Pond finds" and "Pond finds II" I added photos of some of the items I found around the lakes edge and in shallow water at the lakes edge. I will be posting some more photos of items found in the water in those "Pond finds" posts soon. In the mean time here are a few more finds from the park, not the lake.
I have been hunting this park for a little shy of 18 months.
