Some Finds From Short Hunts

Went out for short hunts sometimes with Brian and other times between obligations

Have Detector Will Carry

I found the 1941 Quarter in a Park we tried years ago with our "old" Detectors and got nothing

Brian came back with me and found the 1941 Merc and 1944 Wheat, he also found the stained Rosey on a 40 minute Hunt
before our MD Meeting at a hunted out neighborhood Park

The cylinder item has some writing and has a Patent for July 1910
I believe it is similar to an item I found before that was identified for a Model T auto
I welcome any identification from you who know

The Cameo is not quality and is a Broken Pin and the only find in that small hunt

Thank You For Viewing

congrats on the silver Eva!!!! that cylinder looking thing is I believe another style of the Schrader valve cover from an old model T or such. I just found another that looks like the screwdriver handle, and is marked schrader valve NY .
for those that aren't familiar, a Schrader valve is the valve in a stem from your car rim or bicycle rim, lets air in but you have to press the valve stem to let air out.

Way to go on the finds Eva! You and Brian are going to have that part of NY state cleaned up! Thanks for the pictures.

Not sure what's up between you and the Model T? Next thing we know, you'll dig one of them up or you'll be able to put one together from all of the parts you found. Congrats on the finds.

We were living in Israel during the First Gulf War and before the War really started we had the opportunity to travel and Hike in the Desserts and Forests

During our travels we saw many parts of Tanks strewn about and given the long history of conflict it was not unreasonable to see all that "War Junk".

It became a running joke that if we collected all the parts we happened by we would be able to build our own Tank

I suppose a Model T would be easier to use and transport
