Hey Speed, do you think that's a round ball that's was made in the mold you found Sunday?

No, the round ball is a little smaller and the sprue does not match up to the mold. The best measurement I can get on the mold is about .525. I was hoping it was going to be a match because it was found in the same general area. I do have another round ball that measures the same and fits perfectly, although it was found at another location.

That's too bad. It would have been awesome to be able to link those 2 pieces. Nonetheless, nice diggin' . Looks like you're hunting some good spots.
