An elderly gent came in the store back in Dec and after we got talking he says he's writing a book on the history of the local area.He told me a couple of places that I didn't know even existed so I checked out a an old resort from the early 1900's which around here is old.The oldest known settler around here was 1850's.Only hunted a couple of times but found some silver and IH's and a old token. The coins were mostly found on a ridge overlooking a lake and my guess is people sat along the top to picnic or just watch the lake. Can't wait for it to get warmer!
