Hi Fred, We haven't done all that much hunting this month. It's been either too cold or raining. Now last month was a different story. I found my first Half Dime and it is my oldest coin to date...1858. I even won the Display of the Month at our local club. Woo Hoo!!!!! Here's a few pictures....Sorry about the half dime being blurry, I think I was to excited to take a good picture... Take care and good hearing from you also. Keep up the great detecting and have fun while you're out there. Nancy

My brother in law would like to find those hot wheels I like to find a dime like that you and Larry must have some great places to hunt.Everything around here is only about 60 years old some older but then you cant hunt there.Like the army guys and the coins Nice show .The weather here is changing rain cold except today and tomorrow 60s 70s then 50s.Hope i can get in a small hunt tomorrow.

finds made during the prior month? You did quite well. MXT Magic!

Monte

Yes, that was my September display for our PATH (Peoria Area Treasure Hunters) Club. MXT magic is right! Thanks Monte.

Thanks Fred. If you could have seen me when I pulled that tiny half dime out of the ground and carried it in the palm of my hand to show Larry. He picked it up and said you can tell if it's a coin by the edge. YES, it had an edge! :stretcher: You couldn't have wiped the smile off my face for nothing. It had a VDI of 60, so I thought it might be a deep piece of play money. I wish you the best of luck and thanks again, Nancy
