this is the first time I have found something like this! It's a 1 1/4 pound barbell weight I think it is kind of old.The brand is York and it's solid iron.Talk about a Loud signal! It's just a little smaller than my small coil.

Looks alot like the one I found last month in NYC. Though I moved it to a different spot on the athletis field I hunt.
 
I found the exact same thing the other week with my X2. I chucked in woods . Mine I dug up out of the local park sports field.How did you end up with it LOL:rofl:?
 
I probably ended up with it because I recently invented the worlds strongest magnet! Ha! No..the truth is I also invented a long range detector that not only finds the target at miles away but it also retrieves it for me!That reminds me.Years ago I thought I found a Money Cached of some kind.I was at the base of tree that was close to 100 years old.I got a good solid audio sound and I could raise my coil higher than my waste with still strong audio.I dug and dug and dug and dug and then I dug some more.Did I mention I dug? I thought whatever it was I must be getting close and I was Very excited because I Knew I had found a Big cache of some kind.Well now the Fun part. I looked at the ground on the edge of the hole and saw some kind of iron and when I started to investigate it turned out all this time digging,I was digging in the middle of a Large Iron Ring off of either a barrel or something else! I really thought I was about ready to retire with what I have found..or Thought I have found! Oh Well..It COULD of been a Cache! I've found some great things at the base of old large trees! Ya never know till Ya dig! Ya Dig?!

Answer...1 1/4 pounds! Woodchucks really do chuck wood...At least they do in the Geico commercial which is very funny!
