Some detectable specks.

Got this little stuff with the MXT 5.3 combo a few days ago. Its finally rained here in Dunolly so maybe I should replant them in case they might grow a bit:blink:

Gold is Gold. I wish we had some here in Illinois. Rob

Those are about the size pickers I find 80% of the time, and the MXT does a good job detecting them....

Illinois has Gold Rob, just a bit different is all. Here is my Gold find from 11-19-08.

Nice specks. Put more of these together and you'll rack in the $$$$

Those look a lot better than the ones I have found "none" Good Job. I amd going up to Auburn California to try my new MXT 300. I just got my earphones and new 6X10 DD coil and pinpointer and want to try and find my first piece of gold. Looks good keep up the good work and finds.:beers:

Nice pieces of gold B.T. It's all pretty to me. Glad you got some rain down there. :wiggle: Doing the rain dance for ya! :wiggle: Thanks for showing us your finds. LOVE THEM, Nancy

Thanks BT, I was trying to show off Illinois gold with some rocks stuck to it, 36 of them. Last night was our MD'ing club Christmas party, and awards were given for finds of the year by members of the club, That bracelet lost to a beautiful class ring find that was returned to owner for the Jewelry find of the year.***

I would still love to to do some nugget hunting, just not sure I could talk Nancy into braving the bugs, snakes and heat :surrender:

My High School ring find is a cheap knock-off. It is .925 and used to have a gold wash to it once upon a day and the aluminum one below it is kind of neat, it is stamped Made in England.

*** Congratulations to Nancy for the award...............(s)

Larry, Those are some nice finds!!!!! My wife wants the necklace... so I'd better get busy...not! (Way below freezing here in the foothills of Mt. Rainier.) Going to run out and snap a picture. (Biggest arctic blast since 1990.)

Hey Nancy, Took some pictures but they turned out to be on a card that my reader won't read. (I'll post 'em soon.) Was 14 degrees when I got up this morning and predicted to get colder than that. It's clear and beautiful though!!!

That's OK, I've got all winter to wait for your pictures. You had a heat wave! When I got up this morning, our thermometer said........BITE ME! Well, it said 4 big degrees out there. Our puppy-dog looked at me with a sad face when I opened the door for him to go outside to do his business. I'm bigger than him, so he did go out! Believe me, he wasn't out long. We're to get another 2-7 inches of snow tomorrow. I vote for the 7 for we can have a Snow Day!!! Have a good one, Nancy

Nice finds, it's impressive that an MXT can find gold that small.

Here are two small finds of mine from this summer with a GMT:

Good stuff Alien. The GMT aint no slouch when it comes to small bits. I remember using one and 1/2 gram bits sounded like they were oncers!
