Some days the cz runs hot, hot ,hot... today was not one of them..

just didn't have the mojo working today..Out of 16-17 strong nickle hits, only 2 were the real thing... all the rest were beaver tails, rectangulat tabs and round rings.....Looking at the ratio of dug tabs to gold rings... I dug over 50 tabs to check things out... no gold yet.. Luck will change sooner or later..

Tomorrows another day.. Mark ( ohio )

I also get the bands that hold the eraser on a pencil hitting exactly like a nickle. Old or new and on every machine I've used, too! Oh well, a couple rings and its all worth it! I've had my best ring month so far, 5, so I am good!

I don't care how long you use a CZ,They all have days where they hit good on trash. And iron is the number one trash item. I know with practise you can avoid alot of it,But some days when the moisture in the ground is just rite it likes iron alot more than normal. But most days you can tell pretty well. And it is worth it for the depth you get out of CZ's.
