Had to battle some frozen ground in spots, but had a good hunt. 2 mercs from one hole (1944 and 45) 2 wheats and a nickel all from the 50's. 60 clad coins, 3 jewelry items, and the neatest find is a brass nose piece from a 1853 model Civil War confederate enfield rifle. Gun pic is not my pic.

Lots of finds, love those two mercury dimes.
Is this a new area?
old park that I have hunted a few times a year for probably 10 years. Got those two mercs right where many people start hunting.
