It's 4.8 grams. You don't have to find much of this stuff for it to be worth a few bucks.

Sweet sweet find!!!! WTG.

WoW!
A nice ring!
And 22k!
Congrats!

Sweet indeed! Any details about which machine, settings/program and what it hit at?

I'm working a site that's full of black sand. Basically none of the rules apply. It's a corner bay and stuff is replenished daily--most of it junk. I've settled on a modded Dual Field that Bill Lahr made for me--it's very smooth in the black sand and runs down at 12 uSc--basically a SMPI--there's very little front end to accomplish the smoothness. Then I dig everything that's not obvious wire--focusing on the low ground. In this black sand Excal / CTX / CZ21--forget it. Pulse and time. Always liked Ty Brook's saying:
"When I know there's some targets at a location I then set about finding a way to get them out" Case in point.

Strategy +wisdom = results.. nice 22k.. i never found anything better than 18k myself... if we can just out think the sand we stand a chance ..... beauty. ..

It's like you have a grid of values:
depth
accuracy
coverage
sand texture
grade / contours
time and timing

different ones will be significant at different sites.
it helps to have a few machines to work with and once in a while....
If you want 22k follow the Indian people.

NIce save Clive!! Love the color of the High K!!

Thanks for the run down! The longer I do this, the more I believe the most important component is the one between the headphone cups!
