Some 2006 finds from Downeast in NC ...

These are some of my best finds for 2006. They include 5 tokens, a bridle rosette, a civil war federal marine button, a 1918 walking liberty half, a 1909 barber half, a 1908 barber dime, a 1958 wells fargo agent badge, a pocket watch, a metal girl's hair beret, a lady's heel tap, and a few other items. These items plus many clad coins were found using my Garrett GTAx750.

Some very nice finds. If that pocket knife is in good shape it could bring some bucks. Check at the base of the blade and see if it's made in Germany.

Nice collection, nc hunting.

Need to get mine cleaned up and on display, too, now that the ground is frozen.

Some very nice finds! I myself dug one of those Wells Fargo Agent Badges this year, and my badge is missing one of the Stars on it. Nice Looking Halves also. Also, Tokens are really fun to find since they are worth more than a Silver Dime is. WTG with those great finds. Hope you increase your finds next year and Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:

...more than a few CW heel pates bear an uncanny resemblance to it.

Nice stuff. I had an off year and will just enjoy your gooies, if thats okay?

Thanks for the kind comments ... I've been trying to research info on the heel plate but to no avail as yet ... I would certainly welcome any input readers might have ... Jimmy

I checked the knife blade ... unfortunately its Japan instead of Germany ... maybe next time ... Jimmy
