Sold the xterra to fund a equinox

And for me and my type of hunting,,I found the grass isn’t greener.I have sold the equinox and have a new xterra 705 in route ..Not that the equinox is a bad machine, but to me it’s not as smooth as the xterra,or anywhere near the coin hunter...Just hard to beat a xterra, and anymore I’m not even gonna try..I still believe in my opinion the xterra 705 is the best coin and jewlery machine under a thousand bucks,,just not one thing I could say bad about it,,from the visual ID to the weight, just a perfect machine.

There are some super deals that come up in the classifieds on like new 705's. For the prices some are asking, it's almost a no brainer.

For coin hunting, what coil have you found to be the best for your situations ?

I have the 5x10 HF DD as my only coil for my current 705 as it came with the unit when I bought a like new one from a friend of mine. The unit serves me well dry sand hunting for gold on the beaches and tot lot hunting. Want to get another coil and again I am gravitating to the 6 inch LF Coiltek 'Digger'. That coil just seemed to always bag me silver.

I have a nox 600,but I also have a like new 705 coming tomorrow.Got it for under 300.Had one about 7 year ago.Figure if I can't find it with either of them it ain't there.

The X TERRA 705 is the one detector they will have to pry from my cold dead hands I feel and still believe it is the most under rated detector ever produced

Me too. Others will go down the road, but I can't ever imagine being w/o my 705.

Xterra 705 really is that good..The equinox is good also, but it has some faults also..Out of th two I’ll keep the 705,just a great proven machine.
