Anyone know who has the best deal on a new SE ? I have no local dealer around my area.I got pretty good with the dfx and could run it wide open (all metal) but it just didn't seem like it went deep enought for me. I hunt some very old spots and no the stuff is deep so hopfully the Minelab can sniff it out. Thanks

You specified new, but....
Contact Brian at Southern Treasures. He's got my SE which is like brand new - 3 weeks old - I'm sure he will make you a good deal.

I've bought all of mine from KellyCo. They have the best prices and packages from what I have seen. I deal with JW there and he's always given me great advice and a great price. They ship quickly too. Click on their banner at the top of the page.

good move and you are right about the depth of the Minelab. You can go over those worked out spots of yours and pull some oldies that were out of reach of the DFX. I have done this at several spots and I am still learning the machine. The DFX throws way too many false signals at you when you run it wide open, but I still like it around cellar holes, so I'll keep that machine and maybe trade the XS for an SE in the spring. Keep your eye on the Depot and Findmall classifieds. Some dealer just posted a new SE with the stock and the 7.5" coil for around $1200, with some other extras too. Good luck and keep in touch for a spring hunt. Ron
