Sold some Treasure

Dancer

Well-known member
Sold a great double barrel shotgun, a small Jon Boat, $160. worth of dug up silver, a Gold ring, and a little over $200. of wrapped coins. Pays for the AT Pro, couple of dinners, and two jugs of Pusser's British Rum. Just to take the chill off. Some left over for my secret stash.
I don't have allot, but I have allot I'm not using. Stuff Justs ties a person down. I know a couple who sold their house, their stuff, bought a Motor home packed up some md's & fishing gear, and took off. That's living lean! One rule of thumb, if you haven't used or needed it in 2 yrs, get rid of it. Buy something your into. There's Treasure just laying around the house.

Thats why I love craigsl list always get paid in cash. Ive sold so much stuff laying collecting dust.

Yeah my wife used to collect dolls before MS struck her down. She has about 600 of them packed away upstairs. I need to have a giant sale or start peddling them on Ebay. I've got a bunch of old stuff that would bring some bucks.

Yeah, my wife and I are full time RVers. I do have a ton of detectors and prospecting equipment. I just keep it in storage when not in use.

Hey, Uncle Willy, it sounds like you need to open up an Ebay store!

Happy Hunting!:)

Good post. I selectively sort through the stuff I have accumulated over the year to get it out of my fairly small apartment. I use a five year rule. Then it either gets given away, sold, or tossed. An extended cross country fishing and MDing trip sounds like a very appealing to me. I envy your friends. (I keep items that hold particularly special memories forever. Or so I've realized.)

Was the gun a side by side or over under?
