it ground balanced really easy..to me it was very easy to use. i did like it. BUT i like the MXT alot better. if i had unlimited funds i would buy another. i was called about the MXT and was told a price, i went and looked at it and it was brand new. the guy died of cancer after he bought it and his mother was selling everything that she wasnt able to keep.he was only 51 years old. so sad. arm cuff pads were still in plastic,so were rubber feet and headphones. $350.00 is what she asked for it. i told her they sell for double that.....she said since it is my hobby and her son wanted so bad to do it that she would sell it to me for that price. was very hard to fight back the tears...so since i favored the MXT anyway i now have a loaner and backup. the XLT i thought was very easy to use, not as easy as MXT though. only issue i had was the XLT was locking on to some targets that the MXT was not finding,,,,turns out the ground trac feature was balancing to some old rusty metal in the ground and cancelled it out. i posted on here what was going on and jeff in tn plus reading montes posts told me to lock the ground balance after was balanced to my soil. after i did that it would lock on to them targets very easy. other than that life is good.
