Solar Impulse 2....

Was able to get a shot of Solar Impulse 2 as it flew over the panhandle just north of Masterson on Hwy 287. It was floating around 23,000' and just over 70 knots on it way to Tulsa,Ok. enroute to setting a world record of flying an unfueled flight around the world.

i always tell inexperienced photographer....its about being at the right place and the right time.......MORE so than having a top notch camera.

its a real amazing plane.., it is huge..the wingspan is wider than a 747... landed in tulsa tonight.. have no idea when itll pop up again but ill be following their live tracking video/audio feed

Thats a great shot of SolarImpulse,watch the plane land using the real time link that you provided,it was interesting to see the real time data as well of altitude and mapping,spent a few hours last night as it approached and gained permission to land.
